Google buys Nest for 3,2 billion dollars

The Google company announced acquisition of a startup of Nest Labs known for development and release of «the clever thermostat» Nest and the detector of a smoke of Protect. The amount of transaction makes 3,2 billion dollars.

According to the press release of Google, Nest will continue to work in quality of «the independent company» (but, clearly, under the sensitive management of corporation of good). Closing of the transaction is expected within several next months. It is interesting that the venture fund Google Ventures already some time carried out injection of money (million dollars if to be exact).

Also Nest reports that will continue Apple and iOS support and will not make any preferences for Android. As to guarantee certificates - all remains on the places. Nest production all as will be on sale at retail (the truth while it is unclear - whether will be kept presence at firm shops Apple).
