In MIT the inexpensive transparent display is developed

Modern transparent displays are not so practical - big models are, as a rule, very bulky and expensive, and compact screens have very narrow corners of the review.

However researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) solved these problems and showed a prototype of the transparent display in which the color image is formed thanks to the silver covering put on glass of nanoparticles.

Such decision is at the same time inexpensive and compact as does not demand application of additional optical schemes. Besides it is possible to see the received image practically at any angle.

To lick a product "into shape" more many time is required, but as a result developers promise possibility of simple drawing of such screen on any glass surface, for example, a windscreen of the car or a show-window magazine.
