Mobile Chrome learned to compress a traffic

The people using mobile devices consume and generate worldwide more and more an Internet traffic. According to Google information, the one fifth full age Internet users of the USA accept and send most of all data from/in the Internet from mobile devices. With increase in volumes transferred through 3G both LTE of information grow also appetites of mobile users.

Looking at this trend of Google decided to facilitate life as to users of the Network, and providers of the mobile Internet, having presented the updated Chrome browser with the built-in function of compression of a traffic.

New "compress programm", not only will accelerate loading of pages at slow connection and will save your money (if the tariff with payment on a traffic is used), but also will allow to use technology of tunneling and enciphering of a traffic of "Chrome Safe Browsing". The new functional of Chrome will be available as in browser versions under Android, and iOS.

By default function of compression is disconnected. To include it, it is enough to open settings of the browser, to pass to point «Loading of data» and to include an option «To reduce use of data». Here it is possible to trace volumes of a consumed traffic and to estimate extent of its compression.

Besides "compress programm" in the new Chrome version there was a possibility to create references for web addresses directly on Android desktop, and also integrated Google Translator in the version for iOS. All this was available in 2013, however, in browser beta versions.

The fresh version will be available in Google Play in the next time.
